The Results of the Cartilage Regeneration Improved by the “MADU” Method
BACKGROUND The application of the “MADU” (Magnetic Deep Unipolar Oriented
Field) method for the treatment of degenerative bone and joint diseases
provides abundant cartilage regeneration. The aim of this study is to
interpret the physiopathology mechanisms that provide new non- invasive
possibilities in the treatment of the diseases afore mentioned.
The method consists of influence on reflexogenic zones (RZ) and the application
of the “MADU” strips patented by Dusanka Mandic, MD. PhD. to the WIPO
( World International Property Organization) and researched by WIPO UN
on May 2000, as a Novelty (N),Inventive Step (IS) and Industrial Applicability
(IA). The effectiveness of therapy was evaluated according to the score
that was achieved through a diagnostic test questionnaire, written by
the specialist for orthopedic surgery.
Statistically, 257 patients were examined with the most frequent diagnosis
of Coxarthrosis. In 67,31% of the total number of observed patients, improvement
of the status of the treated skeletal and articular region was achieved,
in 19,84% of the patients the stopping of the pathological process occurred
– even though by its nature it is always progressive, and in 12,85 % of
the patients the pathological process progressed .
MADU method makes possible a regenerative process of the bone cartilage
, as a result of influence on vascular, metabolic and enzymic processes.
The regenerative process can be so successful that, besides qualitative
renewal of the structure of the bone tissue, it can lead to the formation
of new joint space, which creates a better and more efficacious function
of the joint, with a better quality of life.
